Standalone Playback Support For All Media Files?
There are hundreds of media players in the “web market” that claim to be the best media players available and mostly people have no issues in finding a right player for playing varied types of audio files. But, playing certain videos can be really painful.
The most preferred media players like GOM, WMP, Crystal Player, Media Player Classic and VLC are not only free, but they are very distinct from each other in terms of reliability, stability and the most importantly playback support.
As of today there is no media player capable of a “Standalone Playback Support”. I have tried and scrapped many of them and now i use a combination of K-Lite Mega Codec Pack + GOM Player + Crystal Player which provides a playback support for all types media files available. You first need to install K-Lite Mega Codec Pack followed by the above two players and you have an almost complete combination of media playback support.
