Imagination Is the Only Limit

We all know that imagination has no limits. If you can imagine of something great, you can very well achieve it too. Intelligence  is something that has led the human civilization to grow proudly and continuously (at least in the field of technology). When this growth is about the human intelligence spent on producing the weapons of mass destruction, all “sane beings” encounter a similar negative feeling. But, who knows, may be ‘War’ isn’t the answer to all the problems in future.

Here are the clippings of some of the most powerful and meticulously crafted weapons ever disclosed to the public:

Invisible Tank (British Technology)

British Army Tests Invisible Tanks!

The new technology was announced by the Ministry of Defence

It seems that the British Army is testing a couple of monster gadgets in its attempts to develop the 100% invisible tank. The breaking news was disclosed by the Ministry of Defence, during secret trials last week. The official representatives said that the army has successfully managed to make a vehicle disappear.

What’s even more shocking is that they also announced that a completely invisible tank will be ready for some action by the end of 2012. How does the revolutionary technology work? It basically uses cameras and projectors to beam images of the surrounding landscape onto the tank, creating the illusion of disappearance.

A soldier, who has witnessed the trials, reported for Daily Mail: “”This technology is incredible. If I hadn’t been present I wouldn’t have believed it. I looked across the fields and just saw grass and trees – but in reality I was staring down the barrel of a tank gun.” It does sound creepy enough to make us wonder if this is the beginning of a new technological era.

Besides testing its own invisible vehicle mechanism, there are other combat strategies that are being under development, based on the same principles (for example, they are said to be testing military jackets…and who knows what other stuff).

Just as the fellows from Daily Mail also say, this high tech should normally be associated with James Bond. The same site says the man behind the whole machinery is Professor Sir John Pendry, of Imperial College London. He said the only drawback was the reliability of the cameras and projectors and he also added: “The next stage is to make the tank invisible without them – which is intricate and complicated, but possible.”

I don’t know about you, but I have a weird feeling this new thing is going to be catchy for some evil minds out there. How about invisible giant robots?
