WordPress, Plugged In

*yawn* I just woke up from my lazy afternoon sleep and thought of posting something lighter. The first word that popped up in my head was “WordPress”.

I have been using the WordPress since a almost a year and my experience has been very cool. My blog was actually established in the year 2006! which means that UpcomingTechs.com is actually 3 years old! Woohoo! I actually migrated this blog from Blogspot.com cause it was minimalistic. So, WordPress was indeed a better choice.  The best thing that WordPress is well known for is it’s flexibility, open source code and smartness. Speaking of flexible, WordPress has this unique feature that a massive variety of addons(plugins) can be used on the blog for better blogging experience. Like other fellow bloggers, i have made my own list of plugins that i always have enabled on the plugin page and which i recommend every blogger to use.

  • Akismet
  • Contact Form 7
  • Excerpt Editor
  • Google Analyticator
  • Google XML Sitemaps
  • My FTP
  • One Click Plugin Updater
  • Platinum SEO Pack
  • WP-DBManager
  • WP Security Scan

If you too are a WordPress blogger, than don’t mind sharing your list too :)
